A good, honourable work that shows Motion has a gift for drama
The Guardian

A HighTide production.

Two months ago, Steph’s soldier husband was killed in Afghanistan. One winter morning, just before dawn, he appears.

Incoming examines Britain’s place in the world and the sacrifices made for that place; and the repercussions, both private and public, of those sacrifices. It is a first play of true wisdom and sensitivity, by the poet, novelist, critic and academic, Andrew Motion.

Incoming played HighTide Festival, Latitude Festival, Aldeburgh Poetry Festival, and the House of Commons.
