Staring Amanda Abbington (SHERLOCK, MR SELFRIDGE) and telling the story of Mandy a young Bluecoat at Pontins Pakefield Holiday Park during the hazy summer days of 1983. Set against a backdrop of legwarmers, jelly sandals and the Tory landslide, Miriam looks back on a summer romance that changed everything. Nostalgic and bittersweet, a play for anyone who’s ever had their own ‘Dirty Dancing’ moment and for anyone who wishes they had.
To be enjoyed whilst walking and dreaming along Lowestoft beach…
My Summer in Pakefield was available from 26th – 28th June as part of the First Light Festival.
