HighTide is looking to appoint 1-2 new freelance facilitators
Story Worlds is HighTide’s creative writing project for primary schools in Lowestoft.
We need talented and creative facilitators with experience of working with KS1 and KS2 children.
Starting in January 2025, you will teach key skills around storytelling and creative writing over 10 weekly workshops and create a short performance to be shared to an invited audience at the Marina Theatre in April 2025.
Skills and experience required:
At least 2 years experience of leading creative workshops with young people
Experience in applied and/or devised theatre
Strong creative writing skills and experience of writing or devising a play for the stage
The facilitator must be based in Suffolk or Norfolk.
As a writer-centred company, we are especially interested in hearing from facilitators with experience as a playwright.
Fees: variable due to the nature of the project, but equivalent to £150 per session. Travel expenses will be paid in addition to fees.
