HighTide extends a warm invitation to theatre practitioners in Suffolk and East Anglia on Wednesday 11th September, 6.30PM to the world premiere of LIT by Sophie Ellerby, an extraordinary new play exploring the lives of working class young people today and their carers, presented at the Jubilee Hall, Aldeburgh. Sophie follows in the footsteps of HighTide discoveries such as Jack Thorne, Nick Payne, Ella Hickson and Vinay Patel, a roster which over the past 12 years has helped establish the company as one of the UK’s foremost producers of new plays.

HighTide welcomes new Artistic Director Suba Das this autumn, and after the performance there will be an opportunity for local artists to meet Suba and the HighTide team. As the company moves into a new phase, we intend to expand our support for artists in the region and we are keen to hear directly from independent theatremakers in the region about the current challenges in the landscape and how HighTide can help address them.

Local artists are offered discounted £12 tickets for this performance of LIT. Book here, and use discount code ARTISTS19 . Tickets are limited.
