The lovely seaside town of Aldeburgh forms part of the stunning Suffolk coast, situated between the county town of Ipswich and the Norfolk city of Norwich. There are a number of ways to get to Aldeburgh whether by car, train or bus:

By Car

Aldeburgh is just off the A12. Take the A1409 (Farnham Road) from the A12 to reach Aldeburgh. There is parking throughout Aldeburgh, towards the north end of the town, as well as along certain areas of the High Street. There is limited parking at the Pumphouse. We urge you to share cars where possible to reduce carbon emissions related to the Festival. Please note that all venues are within walking distance of each other apart from Blackheath House Wood which is a short car drive.

By Train

The nearest train station to Aldeburgh is Saxmundham. The train journey from London (via Ipswich) or Norwich (via Lowestoft) takes just over two hours. Please note that Saxmundham station is not in walking distance of Aldeburgh and you are advised to travel further by taxi or bus.

By Bus

You can catch the following services to and from Aldeburgh to the surrounding areas, and Saxmundham station:

64, 64a, 65, 65b.

If you require a taxi to or from the nearest station or just to get you from Aldeburgh to elsewhere in Suffolk, we recommend Paul and the team at PSC Travel. You can reach PSC Travel on 01728 663357.
