Aisling Towl

Playwright

Aisling Towl is a writer from South London. Previous work includes Godfrey (VAULTS), pearl apple penguin (Concord Theatricals Festival, NY), don’t stand so close to me (King’s Head Theatre), and Softboy (Mountview). As a poet she has featured at venues including Richmix, Handel Hendrix House and Brainchild Festival, and for organisations including Merky Books, Freedom from Torture and Sofar Sounds. Her plays are published by Bloomsbury in the UK and Samuel French in the USA, and her poetry has been published by Dust Magazine, nominated for the Pushcart Prize and shortlisted for the Bridpoint Prize. Aisling is an alumna of the Royal Court playwriting group and the current Shaffer playwright in residence at Trinity College, University of Cambridge.
