Anna Brewer is Senior Commissioning Editor for the Methuen Drama imprint at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc. Her primary areas of responsibility are signing new playwrights to the list and publishing contemporary plays and anthologies, as well as commissioning books in the field of performance, playwriting, music and dance. Anna has a BA in English and Theatre Studies from the University of Warwick and an MA in English Literary Studies from the University of York. While studying for her MA, she was Culture Editor of the student newspaper, the York Vision, and was shortlisted for Feature Writer of the Year in the Guardian Student Media Awards. She started working for Methuen Drama in 2008.
