Dan Murphy is a writer for theatre and television. He was shortlisted for the Royal & Derogate/HighTide Award 2014, BBC Trans Comedy Award 2013 and Old Vic New Voices 24 Hour Plays 2013. Dan Murphy’s debut play A Local Boy premiered at the Pleasance Theatre in February 2015 before embarking on a UK tour and short West End run in 2016. Dan has also developed work with the Royal Court, Hightide, Theatre 503, Tobacco Factory and Old Red Lion.
