Dominic Ferris
Performer
Dominic trained at the Royal College of Music. After graduating he performed at the international press launch of the Royal Wedding at Lancaster House, which brought about his relationship with Steinway & Sons. The Steinway association inspired the creation of ‘The Piano Brothers’ – a cutting edge piano duo which Dominic formed with Indonesian pianist Elwin Hendrijanto. In 2014 Dominic and Elwin recorded the piano parts at Abbey Road for the live opening ceremony of the Sochi Winter Olympics. They have recently returned from a worldwide tour giving concerts in America, Europe and Asia.
Dominic recently completed the piano recordings for the brand new Elvis Presley album ‘If I Can Dream’ with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The album, which debuted at No.1 in the UK, was the best-selling record of 2015 by a non-UK artist.
Ferris & Milnes debuted at The Pheasantry in Chelsea, and continued their collaboration in devising the musical revue Puttin’ On The Ritz which premiered at the CAA in Covent Garden. They went on to appear in Hey, Old Friends! An 85th Birthday Tribute to Stephen Sondheim at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
