Freddie Porter

Marketing Officer

Freddie is the Marketing Officer for HighTide and joined the company February 2014. He oversees the day-to-day marketing for all HighTide Productions, Outreach Opportunities and the annual festivals in Aldeburgh. Freddie trained at Hull University, Scarborough Campus where he gained a 1st Class BA (Hons) in Theatre and Performance.

During his time at University, Freddie volunteered at the annual National Student Drama Festival and the 2012 International Student Drama Festival as a Workshop Co-Ordinator and Visting Artist Liaison, where he realised his passion for festivals. Since graduating Freddie worked with Bread & Goose Theatre as a production assistant for their small festival of works Terminus Treats – a site specific production to entertain queues for the trains from Kings Cross to the Olympic Park during the 2012 London Olympics. Following this, Freddie worked with Underbelly as an Administrator for their London Udderbelly and London Wonderground seasons, as well as a Production Assistant for the hit circus show LIMBO.

Freddie is a keen cook and baker and often brings homemade treats in for the team to share.
