Marcelo Dos Santos

Marcelo is an award-winning playwright and scriptwriter. His adaption of the novel Lionboy for Complicite toured the UK in 2013 and was remounted in 2015 at the Tricycle Theatre before embarking on a national tour. His latest play, New Labour, commissioned by RADA opened in 2014 in a production directed by Richard Wilson.
Other credits include Lovers Walk (Southwark Playhouse) and Cheer up this is only the beginning (Liverpool Playhouse), Moshing Lying Down (Shunt Lounge/Ipswich Pulse Festival/Green Man).
Marcelo is currently under commission to Lucky Giant (NBC Universal) and has been on attachment at the Royal Court Theatre and HighTide.
