Martin is one half of the musical comedy double act ‘Ferris & Milnes’ which performed “33 Sondheim Numbers In 5 Minutes” in Hey, Old Friends! at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Ferris & Milnes have also performed at The Tower of London and The Pheasantry in Chelsea.
Martin’s one man show The Falsetto received five star reviews at the Edinburgh Festival and has been the support act for Alistair McGowan. The Falsetto Sings Gilbert & Sullivan sold out for three seasons at the International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival in Buxton and won an award at the Brighton Festival. In 2014 Martin appeared with Russell Grant in a two-man cabaret at The Pheasantry.
He directed the first professional revival of The Grand Duke at the Finborough Theatre; the London premiere of Gyles Brandreth and Julian Slade’s Now We Are Sixty at The King’s Head; and readings of JM Barrie’s Rosalind and The Will at The Park Theatre.
Performing credits include ‘Mabel’ in A Motley Pair (Sky Arts); ‘Joe’ in the UB40 musical Promises and Lies (Birmingham Rep); and ‘Moose’ in Crazy For You (Kilworth House Theatre, Leicestershire).
