Sheyi most recently starred in Steven Soderbergh’s FULL CIRCLE on HBO Max and in Chichester Festival Theatre’s LORD OF THE FLIES. His first screen role was as the title role in Steve McQueen’s stand-alone film ALEX WHEATLE, in his multi award winning SMALL AXE anthology for BBC and Amazon. Previous credits include a guest lead in the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning ATLANTA (FX/Disney+), the Netflix feature THE HOMELESS WORLD CUP and the BFI Film/FIlm4 feature BOXING DAY. Sheyi was selected as one of Screen International’s Stars of Tomorrow 2020. He’s made numerous ‘rising stars’ lists since then, and was recently named one of ‘Forbes 30 Under 30’ in the entertainment sphere; the prestigious Dazed100 Hot List 2023 and nominated by John Boyega for the Gen Now Award at the inaugural Soho House Awards.
