Simon Longman is a graduate of the Royal Court Young Writers Programme. His plays include Milked and Sparks (both published by Bloomsbury). For TV he has written Oakwood. He has been commissioned by the BBC, the Royal Court Theatre and Pentabus Theatre Company. In 2013 he won the Channel 4 Playwriting Award (formerly the Pearson Award). He was playwright in residence at Pentabus Theatre Company in 2014 and in 2015 his play Rails was shortlisted for the Bruntwood Prize For Playwriting.
