Celebrate your High Street Design Competition
In August Waltham Forest Council, in partnership with Heritage Lottery Fund and Arts Council England, invited local artists, architects, designers and creatives to propose innovative ideas for the Rosebank Villas route to the High Street to make a visible contribution to the public realm and celebrate the unique history and diversity of the Walthamstow High Street.
Following an expression of interest stage a shortlist of the participants will be presenting their ideas to the public who will be able to vote for their preferred projects. If you want to be among the audience to vote please book your free ticket above.
The winning proposal will be delivered by a team led by Matter Architecture to develop and test pilot public realm projects to enhance and strengthen Walthamstow High Street for the future.
