Jonny Khan

Jonny Khan is an actor, writer from South London. He is the winner of the 2018 Judges Commendation for Acting at the Sunday Times’ National Student Drama Festival for his performance in Pomona by Alistair McDowall. He has gained training through young companies at Theatre Royal Stratford East, Kiln Theatre and Bush Theatre. Following this, his acting credits include; A Very Special Guest (Omnibus Theatre), Unite: It’s Not as Simple as Black and White (New Vic Theatre), Honeymoon (Kiln Theatre), Dungeness (Theatre Royal Stratford East) and Mercury Fur (Theatre Oikos).

Jonny’s first writing and directing credit was Order from Chaos, being performed at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Nottingham Lakeside Arts Centre and Nottingham New Theatre, receiving numerous 4 and 5 star reviews. Following this, Jonny has directed for New Vic Theatre and has gained writing training through HighTide’s ’School of HighTide’ and Royal Court Young Agitators. Jonny is also a DJ and tries to explore blurring the lines between theatre and raving in his writing.
