Lauren Connolly
Design Assistant
Lauren is a Luton born and based designer for live performance and events. Having trained in Theatre Design at Nottingham Trent University she has designed sets, costumes, and puppets nationally for Off-West End, touring, site-specific, immersive, and community-led productions across theatre, dance, carnival, festivals, and short film. She has been employed as lead stylist on events, designing and dressing spaces for product launches, dining events, and TV show releases.
Lauren regularly designs for productions across Luton as well as running creative and craft-based workshops within the community. Her various experiences across the creative spectrum have allowed her to design outside of ‘typical’ theatre environments in outdoor site-specific spaces and for found sites. She thrives when working across a diverse range of projects and, with close collaboration, aims to utilise design to aid in the storytelling process and in connecting with audiences.
