Pieter Lawman

Pieter trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
His directing credits include: Swallows and Amazons (Bristol Old Vic), Pirate Gran (Watford Palace Theatre and UK tour), Lucky Crazy People (Camden People’s Theatre), Stick Man (Leicester Square Theatre), Associate Director on The Ballad of Martha Brown (Angel Exit Theatre UK tour), Assistant Director on Therese Raquin (Haymarket Theatre Basingstoke).
As an actor his theatre credits include: War Horse, I Want My Hat Back, The Revenger’s Tragedy, Tristan and Yseult and A Matter of Life and Death (National Theatre); Othello, Macbeth and Much Ado About Nothing (Shakespeare’s Globe); and work for other theatre companies around the UK including Bristol Old Vic, Manchester Royal Exchange, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Kneehigh Theatre, the Gate Theatre and Slung Low.
Pieter is also a resident Education Practitioner at Shakespeare’s Globe and freelance workshop leader working across London and the South West.
