Virginia has a degree in Literature, and a postgraduate degree in teaching English. She taught secondary education in school for 15 years and she now runs a tuition business, Results Tutoring. She has had poems, articles and stories published in print and online, and broadcast on BBC Radio. Her debut collection of short stories, The Camera Obscure, will be released shortly, and she is currently working on a collection of poetry, Tourist to the Sun. Virginia is married with one son, and her other passions, apart from words, are swimming and playing the violin. She is also an autism and neurodiversity ambassador.
